Hi, my name is Sophia Suzy Shin. I'm an artist that works with comics, scientific, and medical illustration from South Korea, and am currently based in Chicago, IL.

Watercolors and graphite are the tools that guide my artistic journey to narrate my experience with the lack of autonomy societally as a person and medically as a patient. Additionally, these mediums aid me in documenting the preservation of human and animal anatomy whether under the knife or brush. I bring dead things back to life on paper and at an archival level
